Blogging, first step.

This post is for those guys who want to start their journey of blogging. I came to know that many of my friends want to start their own blog. So I am thinking to start one article series for them as their guide. We’ll start from the basic and will go higher slowly. Because easy task for you, might be tough for others. We will consider Blogger platform on which IToons is running for the sake of ease. After getting enough knowledge about blogging I’ll guide you to shift your blog from Blogger to your own host+domain. e.g. on WordPress, Joomla, Drupal etc.

My experience in blogging after spending two years in the feild.

Hi friends, sorry for not providing any interesting thing at this moment. But if you are interested in blogging like me, this is gonna little bit helpful to you to figure out your path in the same.
I have started this blog which is having long url (information-technology1234 and at the end Indicator of free platform .blogspot.com). Actually at that time when I have created IToons I have no idea of what I am going to do, no goal, no target, no plan. I was walking like blind person. I don’t know on next turn what I have to face. How to get traffic for your blog By ‘Automatic posting on Social medias ‘

Linking your blog to facebook means, when your blog has new post, it link will be automatically published on facebook. There is many facebook apps which are serving this facility. I will introduce some of them here, which I have been using. This step will help you little bit to increase your blog’s traffic.

1)

Ping.fm


This is the great site which allows you to ping your posts to different social network from one place.. It is very simple to use and works with lots of social networks. Some of them are:

Twitter
Facebook
GTalk Status
Linkedin
Tumblr
Delivr
Identi.ca
etc
etc
You just have to link your different accounts to Ping.fm and thats done.. Now your ping will be spread like hydrogen. ha ha ha..

Rss Graffiti

This is the facebook app, for updating your group, proflie, or page according to your latest post on your blog. It means that you can handle many features of Rss Graffiti, which includes timing of posts, posts rounds, where to post etc.. So you can control over your automatically postings on Facebook. I have been using this since 6 months back. I recommend you to use this app.

HootSuite
This is a web app,  I don’t like it much as it restricts free users with some limits but It is helpful for automatically posting. It has good web interface to work with. But there is no settings like Rss Graffiti to set timings for the posting. By the way it can be used for publishing contents on FB, Twitter, Linkedin tc
